Sydney Daniel

Sydney Daniel is an Atlanta based artist, and graduate of Georgia State University with a BFA in Drawing, Painting, and Printmaking. When she isn’t painting, you can find her curating art exhibitions and dabbling in art consultation. Her paintings consist primarily of process based mixed media works, made up of multiple layers and materials. Daniel is specifically interested in the formal qualities of painting overriding the representational. Through a method of staining and layering texture, her paintings become a patchwork of different applications.
