Ronnie Beets

Ronnie Beets is an Atlanta based painter working under the brand name aRtBeets. Beets was born in Brazil, and adopted as an infant to be raised in East Tennessee. Completely self-taught, his work exudes the undeniable influences of Picasso and Chagall, while retaining his own unique style. Much of his work explores the ideas, symbols, and mythologies that our collective belief systems were built on. We find ourselves immersed in a culture that, tragically, encourages and rewards non-thinking. Through his work, Beets hopes to engage the viewer in conversation and facilitate introspection and higher thought.
