She holds MFAs in Drawing & Painting, and in Sculpture from GSU. Awards include 2010 Artist Grant from the City of Atlanta Cultural Affairs. The current mixed-media paintings are populated by animals, both real and imagined. In these narrative works, animals often become surrogates for human beings and their emotional lives.
