Katie Bludworth is a Georgia raised mixed media artist impulsively influenced by dreams and nature. Her curious creative style has been labeled as, “eclectic folk inspired by feeling”. While studying Fines Arts and Human Communications at Young Harris College, Rural Appalachia became a part of her and how she creates. Other motivations included Alice in Wonderland, stylistic hand lettering, the impressionism movement, Michael Raedecker, and Ted Whisenhunt. Katie prefers mediums that can be altered and reworked overtime because none of her pieces are ever truly complete. Her works have been on display at the Campus Gate Gallery, Clegge Fine Arts Center, Crane Creek Vineyards, and Bacchus Wine Shoppe.
