His work has been categorized as Cartoon, but Adelung deviates from the typical cartoon aesthetic by incorporating dark imagery and dramatic pops of color. Lisa Shinault-Fratesi, known in the art world as LiShinault, creates artwork that is rough and textured, yet soft and beautiful.
